Hi @Kelly B - do you mean the triggers that will create a Special Event alert in Risk Analytics? If so, see below image with the 7 types of Special Events alert triggers

Hi @Kelly B   I was just told there are over 370 events of a global nature but some of the main categories of Significant Events are:

  1. M&As
  2. Control and Ownership Changes
  3. Fraudulent Activity
  4. Catastrophic Events
  5. Business Registration Issues or Revocations
  6. Financial Distress

This is what I have selected yet I am getting CEO and Principal changes as well as Earnings updates.  Should these fall under Control, CEO pr Operations?  One alert from today lists a Significant Event but nothing is listed in the History since Sept 27th?

Thank you for all the responses - It seems like the Special Events category may be grouped together even if not selected.

@Kelly B  can you check the rest of your Alert Policy, for example, had you selected Principal Changes or Company Overview Changes? That could trigger those alerts. I would suggest working with your D&B Account Team one on one to look closer at your entire Alert Policy so that you have it set the way that works most effectively for you.
